Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, event planning and general human resources duties. This position will focus primarily on recruiting efforts, serve as backup for the Human Resources Manager, and assist in planning and executing the Triangle Home Services hiring and culture strategies.

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate all recruiting functions, including but not limited to, creating job postings and position contracts, creating 90 day objectives, reviewing resumes and applications, setting up and conducting phone interviews and in-person/video interviews.

Coordinate all on-boarding functions, including but not limited to, new hire orientation and paperwork.

Set performance goals and execute plans to focus on cost/applicant, cost/hire and retention rate.

Must be able to assist with general human resources duties, including but not limited to, recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, training, benefits administration, and daily administrative duties, including data entry, disciplinary process, safety and OSHA record keeping.

Work closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure human resources goals align with the overall company strategy.

Update spreadsheets and analyze trends in recruiting, hiring and team member retention.

Implement and follow handbook policies and regulations regarding team member’s requests or issues.

Must assist with planning and team building activities to maintain company culture.

And any other assigned duties.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

At least two years of Human Resources or recruiting experience

Committed to providing the highest quality of service to all customers.

Strong business acumen and basic knowledge of labor laws.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills, dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and improve performance through management feedback.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality while working with team member records and documents (including I9 and benefit information).

Strong understanding of Windows/Apple operating systems, internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome, Safari), email (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Google), and Google applications (Sheets, Docs. Slides).
